The Royal Oak Hotel is an ideal venue within Mid Wales. With travelling times of one and a quarter hours from Birmingham and Manchester Airport it is easily reached from the cities, but has the great outdoors on its doorstep.

The hotel was built over 300 Years ago by the Earl of Powis, changed hands in 2004 for the first time in 60 years, the hotel is embarking on a major redevelopment during 2006.

Turn off the A483 into Welshpool town centre. The hotel is situated on the crossroads of main street and church street. The car park is located at the rear of the building.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Welshpool Railway Station, with a regular service from the Midlands and London.
